Privacy Policy for Goalit

Goalit ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile application provided by Vision Vanilla for planning football training sessions. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

Data we collect
Account data (when you sign in)
- Name
- Email address
- Authentication identifier (Supabase user ID; Google or Apple ID if you sign in with those)
- Role (player, coach, or supporter)
- Team and club you join
You can use parts of the app without signing in. Signed-in data is required to persist your team membership, role, and reactions across devices.
Usage data
- Reactions (like/dislike) you leave on exercises
- Your training session setup (number of players, pitch size, etc.)
Analytics data
We use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to understand how the app is used. This includes:
- App events (screen views, button taps)
- Device and OS information (model, OS version, locale)
Local data on your device
- Cached videos for exercises, to avoid re-downloading
- Preferences and session state
We do not collect contacts, photos, location, microphone, or health data.
How we use your data
- To provide the core service (show practices, save team setup, sync reactions)
- To sign you in and keep you signed in
- To understand which features are used, so we can improve the app
- To debug and fix problems
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing data they process on our behalf.
Where data is stored
- Account and app data: Supabase, EU region
- Analytics: PostHog, EU region
- Cached videos: only on your device
Data retention
We keep your account data as long as your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days (some backups may persist up to 90 days before being cycled out).
Your rights
Under GDPR and similar laws, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Withdraw consent at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@visionvanilla.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
Delete your account
To delete your Goalit account and all associated personal data:
- Email info@visionvanilla.com from the address associated with your account. Use the subject "Delete account".
- We will confirm and delete your account within 30 days. Backups may persist up to 90 days before being cycled out.
The following data is deleted: name, email, role, team membership, and your reactions to exercises. Anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked to you may be retained.
Children
Goalit is intended for users aged 13 and up. Younger players may use the app under the supervision of a coach or guardian who manages the account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
